Not Every Imperfection Needs Fixing

In one part of my creative space—let’s say my songwriting corner—some tools just don’t work perfectly. Maybe my audio interface glitches now and then, or one app freezes up. Sure, it’s not ideal, but it’s also not a huge issue. There are bigger creative challenges that need my time and attention.

As creatives, we often feel the need to fix every little thing, thinking it’ll bring us closer to perfection. But just because something can be fixed doesn’t mean it’s worth the energy. Letting go of the small stuff frees us to dive deeper into the real work—the projects and ideas most people overlook but have the potential to truly move us forward.

It’s about focusing on what matters, even if others don’t see it as a “problem.”
