New Single - African Lady
I wanted to take some time out to talk about my latest release African Lady. After taking time to step back from the process of consistently creating and releasing music I needed time for reflection re-connection and growth.
Music is more than just a hobby its my life and to share your life and your emotions with the world you have to live life. Not everything I release is autobiographical but there is always a sense of reality hidden in the mix.
I started this song alone but finished it with a valued friend and collaborator Jeremiah Glazer. If you have had the opportunity to work with this guy he is an absolute guru. He is a great listener his attention to detail is amazing and he is just an overall cool dude.
With African Lady I'm dipping my toes back into the frigid world of criticism, stats and likes. I'm happy to be here. I promise you this is just the beginning. For the record there is a difference between a fan and a supporter. My fans who I love will stream this give feedback and have a great time with the music.
The supporters however hold a really special place in my heart and I really gotta shout you guys out for the daily messages asking for new music for still calling radio and requesting songs that are over 5 years old, they send me video clips of our yes OUR music playing on TV.
This one is for all of you though.. This love is for all of you....
